Bulk eMailers. Advertising Methods

Systems which are able to send eMails to multiply users.

Any such method should automatically send emails using an accurate and up-to-date database of emails have a strict opt-in system that allow an easy way to op-out of receiving such messages.

Advice: Could be beneficial if used with care. Do not over use. Particularly if you need to send regular messages to a larger number of users newsletters or ezines, etc... Don't eMail Spam users who sign up

The are a lot of filters to filter out email, Spam Filters etc..., they may be removed serverside, blocked at the local side and then again on the human side, (not read by the person. This means that if an email is posted it does not indicate that it will be read. Even if it is read it does not mean the action you want will be taken.

EU bans pre-ticked website boxes to aid consumers which was featured on the SitePoint podcast. The new legislation aims to eliminate hidden charges and costs. European websites will no longer be able to helpfully include extras such as insurance which customers have to actively decline. The rules will also cover registration for services such as email promotions.
