A celebrity is a person who is easily recognized by a group of people.

This recognized person could be known by the general public or a more specialized group of people e.g. sports, business, certain age groups, entertainment, etc.. or even more specialized e.g. nanotechology, painters, etc...

It is said, (by some), that because they are easily recognized that those people also feel that there recommendations are also to be respected.

Advice: Could be expensive but could result in may more people finding out about your product or service.

Be careful not you don't selecting an easily recognized celebrity who may become disliked by the target market you may be trying to reach.

Consider if the celebrity is within your target audiences. Some celebrity have different target audiences.

Draw up a carefully crafted, use legal advice, contract to cover all aspects of what will be expected from the celebrity and there behavior.

Use Press Releases and promoting on Social Networks to make fans of any celebrity aware of their recommendations.

Don't go over the top of just trying to promote the produce or service as this could alienated the fan of the celebrity and/or even make that celebrity less popular to there fans.

This could be like a Word Of Mouth recommendation of a product or service from someone a fan respects wants to aspire to.

A Testimonial from a celebrity could help increase the Credibility and authority of a product or service.

Using Product Placement could be one way to let a celebrity show your product or service.
