Click Bombing may have different meanings to different people.

The idea is generally to use people and/or software to click on web site links to increase ranking for web sites

Click Bombing is sometimes used to click on adverts on a web site to:-

All these will usually be classed as Click Fraud and/or False Clicking. This is particularly relevant for Pay per Clicks, PPC, Cost Per Click, CPC and Pay Per View methods.

To try generate more income for that web site.

To cause a cost to the people paying for those adverts and try to cause a reduced profit for that person.

To get the web site listing those adverts to be banned from displaying those adverts for Click Fraud and/or False Clicking. This is particularly relevant for Pay per Clicks, PPC, Cost Per Click, CPC and Pay Per View methods.

Advice: Do not carry out any form of Click Bombing.
