It is possible to use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to make other tags to appear like the <h1> tag. Do NOT do This!
Other coding, for example Java/Java Script, Flash may cause some problems with some search engines.
Advice: Using any Coding methods to try to trick of fool search engines is NOT recommended. This method may have helped in the pasted but is probably now more likely to have a detrimental effect for listings with search engines. Some search engines may now even ban sites that use such methods to try to fool them into being listed higher. It is usually better to try to keep the HTML, HyperText Markup Language code as clean as possible. Dynamitic web pages, (for example those using PERL, etc), web pages that change depending of the input of the use, may be hard for search engines to list. Think about it how can a search engine list a moving page? Wherever possible produce static HTML coded pages.
The level of code to content could prove relevant. Always try to proved a high level of content. Try to keep levels of code as small as possible. Search engines any find code difficult to interpreted and may not list pages which use a high level of coding. This may not apply to codes, e.g.. PHP, which are used server-side, (on the Host), to produce HTML, which appear to a search engine just like a normal HTML pages.
Large graphics or complex code like some Java/Java Script, Flash, etc may look great but can slow webpage's down to a point where users stop waiting and move to another web site, (just a click away)
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) could, (when compared with other methods such as using tables), speed up page load times.
Using coding such as DHTML, Dynamic HTML XML, Extensible Markup Language RSS, Really Simple Syndication; (also see above), may be more beneficial especially with search engines that accept these methods.

Using CSS it's possible for the text to have a different link from the image link that the text is on. It is also possible for the image link to have a different 'alt' message. The image example of this at Cascading Style Sheets CSS is separate from the text. This can make it easier for search engines to find the Text.
