Diversity. This is the spread of web sites that link to your web site. The greater number of separate places that link to your web site the better.

For example it is better to have 20 links from 20 totally different, (but relative to your content), web sites than it is probably to have a few hundred links from the same web site. This will increase if those links are unpaid links from Authority Sites.

This relates to obtaining a good SERP, Search Engine Results Page and a higher Google PageRank®.

Note that real users are also likely to produce similar results, the more they see links on different web sites the more they may feel comfortable about clicking on that link.

With real users the more times they see a links on the same web site/s may also make them more likely to be inclined to click on that link.

Advice: Getting listed on Blogs. Blogging. BLOG. Video Blogs. Vlogs, Forums. Computing, webmaster, programming Forums and Press Releases will improve your diversity.

Using Diversity will help your Branding Also your Brand image.

You will need to avoid links from Bad Neighbourhoods.

One way to increase Diversity is with paid for linking back to your web site is by using Affiliate Marketing. Note that paid for links will generally be less effective for Organic Search Engine Optimization.

If your site is listed in a greater number different places then it is more likely to be found by users than if just listed on only a few web sites.
