False Clicks Advertising Methods

False Clicks could occur be accident i.e. a user clicks on the wrong link. This could occur because of the users scanning.

Advice: Not very likely to result in good results. Watch your Traffic Logs for signs of fraud for example repeated clicks from on user and no purchases.

False Clicks may also occurred because an incorrect title and/or description is given. This will result in non-targeted clicks and not very likely to result in good results.

This may also occur if the true price is misbelieving, does not for example include a high level of postage and packing. 

False Clicks may occur because you are using the incorrect keywords. Incorrect keywords are not recommended as your website could be banded from being listed by some search engines. Use targeted titles and descriptions.

This could result in a high level of frustration by the user and an poor reputation.

Contextual Technology could lead to some False Clicks because some users move their mouse-pointer over the text as they read it. Just as some users may use there finger to point at words they are reading with printed text. They may move there mouse pointer over the contextual link without wishing to actually find our more information about that word/s and this could register as a click.
