Web sites that load and display faster are better than slow loading web sites. If your web site loads too slowly then search reaching robots may not list your site properly and users may not wait for the page to load and move on to a quicker loading
web page.
Generally it is large graphics or complex code like some Java/Java Script, Flash or Coding Cascading Style Sheets
(CSS), etc may look great but can slow web page's down to a point where users stop waiting and move to another web site, (just a click away). A good multimedia presentation could overcome his issue because it provides useful information for the use who is willing to wait for the presentation to complete. Streaming video is a sequence of "moving images" that are sent in compressed form over the Internet and displayed by the viewer as they arrive. Streaming media is streaming video with sound. With streaming video or streaming media, a Web user does not have to wait to download a large file before seeing the video or hearing the sound. Advice: It is not recommended to have slow loading web page's. Slow loading web page's can lose you web site visitors'. Carry out a Free Load Test. Test the speed of your web pages. Check the speed of your web site now. If you do need to use large graphics then is suggested that you use a Thumb Nail image, a smaller image, that links to the lager image. This will allow the user to view the Thumb Nail and decide whether on not they think the full size image is worth viewing.
A similar option should apply for Flash Pages, that is give users the option of not having to wait for the Flash page to load. Remember users are paying for download time and some may still be using Dial-Up
Modems that load pages slower than Broadband.
Remember that each page may need to be server thousand of times by
search engines and a fraction of a second could be more significant for
them.
Use Streaming video. This is a sequence of movie multimedia sent in compressed form over the Internet and displayed by the viewer as they arrive.
