Product Placement is a way to have your product or service placed and possibly mentioned in a film, television show or an other pace where people will be able to view it. Product Placement may not directly mention your product or service but for example a well known actor would use your product or service with in the scene they are making in a more natural way.
Advice: Product Placement as proved to be very valuable for some items increasing the awareness and sales of that item. Could be very expensive. It will take some time to implement and will be very difficult to change once implemented. For example scene within films may need to be changed to suit and once filmed may not possible to change. A knowledge of which television shows and films and the scene likely to be sown would be an advantage.
There are a number of specialised television programs where Product Placement could be classed as Targeted to that television program. For example; a gardening television program could feature a type of lawn care product your provide, a ladies fashion television program cloud feature a type of jewellery you provide, etc...
This is an Off-Line Advertising method of advertising.
It could be argued that Product Placement may also occur On-Line where a product or service is featured on a, (usually well known and respected), website.
It could be even further argued that Product Placement may also occurs by the position of an item on any webpage.
Product Placement is similar to getting the personal recommendation, (WOM, Word Of Mouth advertising), of the from the film or television program.
Note that Product Placement does not usually emphases the product or service for example an actor may just use your product or service within a scene or number of scenes.
