Proxy Servers. Advertising Methods

Proxy servers are a server to send data through. This is so that that information is not directly from you but sent from the proxy server.

This is suppose to result in a better level of privacy for a user and for a user but this can not be guaranteed.

This may be done for a number of reasons:-

To try to protect the privacy of the user, this can not be guaranteed.

To submit web sites and/or content to try to make that information appear to being submitted by different users. e.g. to submit content to Press Release, RSS Listing sites, sites that accept User Generated Content, etc... In this case proxy servers would generally be used with Spinning to submit web sites and/or content and therefore try to reduce any flagging for publishing Duplicate Content.

Advice: Only use proxy servers if used legally and only if needed.

Not recommended as a way to submit web sites and/or content to try to make that information appear to being submitted by different users as web sites that accept such information a getting better at recognizing Duplicate Content even if that information is Spun Content.

Proxy servers are sometimes used for things that may be classed as illegal or against the terms of web sites such as to generate False Clicks, Click Bombing or to try to increase Ranking.

Proxy Servers are sometime used to provide a better level of privacy and for a user but this can not be guaranteed.

Do not us a Proxy Servers as a form of security e.g. on-line banking, etc..
