A squeeze pages is a the name given to a landing web page made to try to get leads, i.e. build a list for use in later email marketing campaigns or to try to quickly sell a service or product.
Quite often this squeeze pages will often use copywriting techniques with offer special offer to encourage viewers to provided their details to be added to the list.
Advice: Not particularly recommended if you wish obtain a good return on investment, (ROI), There have been a number of users supplying poor quality services using this method and the reputation of squeeze pages is not very good. You will need to provide a genuine offer that is able to really benefit the user.
Users may have been disappointed with offers on other squeeze pages and feel they already have a similar product or service. Therefore any offer may also have to provide a genuinely new service or product. It is likely that users will only opt-in to your list for shorter periods of time, unless you are able to deliver continued advantages to the user.
To quickly sell a service or product you may need to use a time limited offer.
Your squeeze page will require a call to action, require the user to take some action e.g. sign up to your opt-in to your list that will be of benefit to you.
Squeeze pages may have some benefit be used to encouraged users to opt-in to receive your eBooks.

Tips; Send to a specific landing page, not your home page. Sell one thing on that page. Get rid of distractions (especially things like AdSense links that go AWAY from your site).
You may need to use Pay per Clicks, PPC and Cost Per Click, CPC, (this could be costly), to drive traffic to the web site because search engines are not likely to give a good listing such squeeze pages because of a lack of content.
You will need to manage your list very carefully allowing easy opt-out options to prevent being reported for spamming.
Do not let Leakage happen on your squeeze page.
You may need to use a Free, giveaways and high discounts on your squeeze page to encourage the user to take the action you require.
