The List Advertising Methods

If you collect users information then this is known as "The List". This list is very important to you. It may be the only way you are able to contact your users.

Advice: Beneficial if used with care. Particularly if you need to send regular messages, newsletters or ezines, etc... Don't eMail Spam the list of users who sign up.

This list may be gained via opt-in methods. Do not use harvesting methods to obtain a list.

Ask for a list of other Businesses which have used their services and check with them to see how successful the service has been.

Do not buy lists from email eMail Spam you received, if they have sent you Spam then they will probably send others Spam as well.

1. Do not buy lists from email Spam advertising you received from services that do not have a real working return email address in the senders field.

2. Before purchasing make sure you can call them and talk to a real person.

3. Ask for a list of other Businesses which have used their services and check with them to see how successful the service has been.

4. Go to Spamhaus.org and search their listing of Spam Support Services. WORKING TO PROTECT INTERNET NETWORKS WORLDWIDE Spamhaus tracks the Internet's worst Spammers, known Spam Gangs and Spam Services, provides realtime anti-Spam protection for Internet networks, and works with Law Enforcement Agencies to identify and pursue spammers worldwide.

5. Fight Spam on the Internet! Reports on Spammers etc... and National Antispam Registry. 

You may use Bulk eMailers and/or Autoresponders to contact your List.

Make it very easy for users to opt-out.

You may consider using a Squeeze Pages to increase your list.

Changing your copywriting could increase the possibility of a user to take action and improve sales.

Users on The List are classed as Hot Leads. You may wish to use Pay For Action and Free, giveaways and high discounts to increase your list.
