You could also offer a discount for users who give you "Social Network Likes". e.g. 25% off it you give my product 50 "Social Network Likes".
This should increase the number of times your product or service receives "Likes" on Social Networks and therefore result in a greater Viral Traffic as each users will whom also buy, (for free), your product will also vote "Like" of your product or service to get it free, (use lead capture), or at a Discounted Price..
* A Like is in a way a vote for something someone "Likes a product service web site or article or just something else e.g. song, picture video, etc... In a way this is a recommendation by a user that this is product or service is good and should in the very least be looked at.
