Remember that most Modding will make any warranty void.

The ionic system cooler (true 0dBA system) (Silent cooler) It's was a relatively quick build, the time from the photo shoot to publish has been an extremely long and rocky road. Regardless in the end we have produced the first ionic cooling system for your high end gaming system. This system produces absolutely no noise and in fact has no moving parts at all. While this is a proof of concept it proves that you can get the CFM you need to cool a system efficiently with no moving parts and no increase in power consumption.

Lapping a CPU. One of the main purposes of lapping a CPU is to provide a flatter, smother surface so that contact between the CPU and the heartsink is increased allowing for better heat transfer between the heatsnik and the CPU. This may be more important if you are Overclocking. The same may issue apply for other heatsinks, e.g. Graphics Cards. Also see CPU Processors.

Moore's law states "The number of transistors and resistors on a chip doubles every 18 months." By Intel co-founder Gordon Moore regarding the pace of semiconductor technology. He made this famous comment in 1965 when there were approximately 60 devices on a chip. Proving Moore's law to be rather accurate, four decades later, Intel placed 1.7 billion transistors on its Itanium chip. In 1975, Moore extended the 18 months to 24 months. More recently, he said that the cost of a semiconductor manufacturing plant doubles with each generation of microprocessor. Larger Graph Image
