WMM is saying that another user is running WMM and to please close the session and open WMM again. I checked all users,
(these are not logged on), and none of them had a
session of WMM running. Yet, it STILL says that! What can I do!?
1.Right click on the taskbar and select 'Task Manager'.
2.Select the 'Processes' tab, and scroll down until you find the 'moviemk.exe'
This is the Movie Maker process.
3.Select the 'moviemk.exe' click on it once to select it- and then select the 'End Process' button at the bottom. It may come up with a confirmation to stop the process- just select that you really want to do it.
4. Repeat for each 'moviemk.exe' in the TaskManager.
5.Close the TaskManager. then try to re-open MovieMaker normally.
P.S. you can order the names alphabetically in the Task Manager by clicking on the Image Tab
