Everloop hopes to provide a solution for both parents and children. It is said to be just like Facebook but with content that is geared toward children between the ages of 8-13. In addition, it contains controls for parents that allow them to monitor what their children are doing on the site.

Everloop is in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which means that a parent must authenticate a child before it is permitted on the site. This compliance also ensures that Everloop cannot gather personal information from kids for marketing purposes. IIconix eMail ID software download   Iconix is committed to making it easy to identify legitimate emails. We are working closely with companies like Google and Iconix to give our users the best protection against fraudulent, phishing and suspect emails.  If you are a Gmail user, it's easy to identify legitimate emails. You can simply enable an icon which will only show up when an email is from PayPal (or from our sister company, eBay). So when you receive an email from us, or our partners at eBay , you will see a key icon next to the message in your Inbox. Only legitimate PayPal emails have this icon so if you get an email claiming to come from PayPal and you don't see the icon, it's not from us. So please don't open it.  To enable this feature in Gmail, go to 'Settings', 'Labs', then tick the Enable box next to the 'Authentication icon for verified senders' option and click on 'Save Changes'.  This software download from Iconix can help reduce phishing by confirming whether you received a legitimate PayPal email. After Iconix eMail ID has been installed, you'll see an Iconix eMail ID icon (a gold lock with a tick) whenever you receive authentic emails from PayPal. It's free and it works with most of the major email services like Gmail, (Google Mail), MSN Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, Outlook Express, and many more.  If your preferred email program, web mail provider or operating system. is not listed, click here and we will notify you when support is available. For more information, go to the Iconix websiteHow does the Iconix solution work? The Iconix solution couples our advanced technologies with authentication techniques such as Yahoo!'s Domain Keys and Microsoft's Sender ID to confirm the source of an email, and will support Domain Keys Identified Mail (DKIM), which is a joint effort between Cisco and Yahoo!, as it is adopted in the industry. This combined solution makes it very difficult for bad guys to spoof the identity of emails with an Iconix Truemark icon.   Also see PayPal Support Club. Review and helpful links, coding examples, warnings, other shopping cart links, etc. PayPal is a on-link banking system that allows website owners to integrate shopping cart technology into their site.  Find out more, includes links to helpful site about PayPal shopping cart technology.

The Internet Content Rating Association  The original aims of RSACi Rating System, (now folded), to protect children from potentially harmful content while preserving free speech on the internet, continue to provide the cornerstone for ICRA's work, backed by the biggest names online.

Micosoft Information RSACi Rating System Internet Explorer is installed with a PICS-based content rating system known as the Recreational Software Advisory Council on the Internet (RSACi) system. This built-in PICS support can help you control the types of content that users can access on the Internet. When you enable Content Advisor, Internet Explorer reads the meta tags to determine whether Web sites meet your criteria for suitable content. You can also subscribe to independent ratings bureaus or use third-party ratings to control access to Web content.

RSACi is an open, objective content ratings system for the Internet developed by the Recreational Software Advisory Council (RSAC), which has since been folded into the Internet Content Rating Association (ICRA), an independent, nonprofit organization. The RSACi system provides information about the level of sex, nudity, violence, and offensive (vulgar or hate-motivated) language in software games and Web sites. For more information about ICRA and the RSACi rating system, see the ICRA Web site at The Internet Content Rating Association You can also download the ICRA's new content ratings system from this Web site.

The following table shows the five levels of the RSACi Rating System and describes the content allowed for each level. Level 0 is the most restrictive, preventing users from accessing Web sites that include offensive language, nudity, sex, and violence. Level 4 is the least restrictive, allowing users to access Web sites that present explicit content.

RSAC no longer exists. In 1999 it was "folded into" a new organization, the Internet Content Rating Association (ICRA). The original aims of RSAC, to protect children from potentially harmful content while preserving free speech on the internet, continue to provide the cornerstone for ICRA's work, backed by the biggest names online.

You can set content ratings to any level for each of the four content areas. All content ratings are set to Level 0 by default. When Content Advisor is turned on and the Platform for Internet Content Selection (PICS)  rating for a Web site exceeds the rating level you specify, Internet Explorer prevents users from accessing the site. Also, you can configure Internet Explorer to prevent or allow users to access unrated Web content. For more information, see "Configuring Content Advisor Settings" later in this chapter.

Tracking Protection Lists (also called TPLs) created by companies and organizations that want to help consumers understand and make choices about their online privacy. You can add individual lists by clicking the "Add TPL" links on the right side of the page. To manage your lists, click on the Tools button, point to Safety, then click Tracking Protection. These tracking protection lists were created by their respective authors, who are solely responsible for maintaining the lists and for their content. Microsoft does not control any of these lists. Click here for answers to commonly asked questions about TPLs. Tracking Protection Lists help prevent the websites you go to from automatically sending details about your visit to other content providers. Additionally, when you have a Tracking Protection List or Personalized Tracking Protection enabled, Internet Explorer 9 will send a Do Not Track preference or signal to the websites you visit. It will also send a Do Not Track preference to the third party websites that provide content on the websites you visit if those third party sites have not been blocked by your Tracking Protection List. Websites may continue to engage in activities you might view as tracking even though you have expressed this preference, depending on the websites' privacy practices. Also see Browser Links
